How To Survive The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Harry Potter Hates Military DiscountsSince it’s opening The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has become the biggest draw and most crowded attraction at Universal Studios Orlando. Located in the Islands of Adventure Theme Park, the Wizarding World draws Harry Potter fans and their families in droves. Every day this section of the theme park is packed with long lines waiting just to enter the area. Guests must then get in lines for the individual attractions.

There are two ways to beat the crowds though.

One way is to stay at one of Universal’s on site hotels. These are the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, the Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Military members can stay at these hotels with the military discounted packages Universal offers. You’ll need to opt for the upgraded package which start at $379 per adult. These include two day theme park tickets, and early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. While you and others who are staying on property are admitted to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter first thing in the morning, those staying off property are having to line up and wait for you to finish and make room.

The other good way to experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, if you are not staying on property and still beat the crowds is to skip it first thing in the morning, enjoy the rest of the park (or both theme parks) all day and return later in the evening when the crowds have thinned. Many people have reported great success with this method.
